The induction therapies, with the aid of the VEGASOM, is not stressful nor pressure inducing to patients and thus cannot be considered a “manipulative procedure”. Instead it is – to the extent the patient is receptive – a kind of stimulation, a challenge for the brain, generated by “psychogalvanic reaction mechanisms”. A patient in a relaxed state exhibits increased ionic skin flow (i.e., skin conductivity increases), so that induction therapy, whose two electrodes are attached to the shoulder joints / pulses, can develop its activity.
